Filho de um cavalariço enriquecido, órfão a partir de 1804, muito jovem entusiasmou-se pela Grécia Antiga. Trabalhou como aprendiz de cirurgião durante cinco anos e depois foi nomeado externo do Guy’s Hospital.

John Keats é realmente um poeta maravilhoso, confesso que conheço pouco de sua obra, mas pelo pouco que conheço posso afirmar que é uma obra muito relevante. Lord Alfred Tennyson é um dos meus poetas preferidos, e recebeu grande influência do trabalho de Keats.
Um ponto negativo é que não achamos muita coisa em português na internet. Mas quem conhece o inglês poderá apreciar muitos poemas dele sem gastar nadinha. Poemas como “Bards of Passion and of Mirth” e ”Ode to Psyche” são de fuder, e ainda tem outros melhores.

DD fora do autor, mas e Yeats? Eu aposto que ele era um iniciado tbm, mas não consegui muito mais informações. Vê isso:
